Official "3" lyrics
M.Martin/Shellback/T.Amber
1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And I'm caught in between
Countin'
1, 2, 3
Peter, Paul & Mary
Gettin' down with 3P
Everybody loves ***
Countin'
Babe, pick a night
To come out and play
If it's alright
What do you say?
Merrier the more
Triple fun that way
Twister on the floor
What do you say?
Are - you in
Livin' in sin is the new thing (yeah)
Are - you in
I am countin'!
1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And I'm caught in between
Countin'
1, 2, 3
Peter, Paul & Mary
Gettin' down with 3P
Everybody loves ***
Countin'
Three is a charm
Two is not the same
I don't see the harm
So are you game?
Lets' make a team
Make 'em say my name
Lovin' the extreme
Now are you game?
Are - you in
Livin' in sin is the new thing
Are - you in
I am countin'!
1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And I'm caught in between
Countin'
1, 2, 3
Peter, Paul & Mary
Gettin' down with 3P
Everybody loves ***
What we do is innocent
Just for fun and nothin' meant
If you don't like the company
Let's just do it you and me
You and me...
Or three....
Or four....
- On the floor!

Spears raps up US Circus tour
From Digital Spy
Britney Spears ended the US leg of her 'Circus' tour with a performance in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The 'Toxic' singer announced in June that she was to add 20 more dates to the North American portion of the jaunt.
She performed a 90-minute show at Mandalay Bay, which was attended by Barry Manilow and Lance Bass, People reports.
The former 'N Sync member was given a lap dance by Spears during her rendition of 'Breathe On Me', while he sang along with her during the routine.
The popstar was spotted shopping in the area before the gig at Mirage's Sugar Factory with boyfriend Jason Trawick and her two sons, Sean Preston, 3, and 2-year-old Jayden James.
"She spent about $3,000 (£1,880) and walked out of the store with ten bags," a source said. "She got a bunch of candy and shirts for her kids and got a bunch of the couture lollipops to give to her backup dancers."
Spears recently confirmed that she will play several shows in Australia in November.

The Circus Tour...in 3D!
Remember that mysterious poem with all the 3s?
"Ode To B Fans
Y'all keep shouting, "Gimme, gimme, gimme more,"
But little do ya know, some surprises are in store.
No matter how many gallons of Celebrity Juice you drink,
There's more around the corner, so much more than you think.
So please quit breathing heavy, I hate to hear you sigh,
I know I drive you crazy... oops! I did it again, didn't I?
As much as I lov3 contests, that isn't what this is about,
I'll tell you soon enough, 'cause I hate seeing B fans pout.
Now listen very closely, turn your radar up on high,
It's something fr3sh and new, ok? I'd never tell a lie.
So sit back and relax, be patient one more tim3,
The answer can be found within this little rhyme.

It appears Britney will be filming her Circus tour performance in Vegas... in 3D!
From Perez Hilton:
"Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Britney Spears will be doing something quite special at her upcoming Las Vegas concerts on September 26th and 27th at Mandalay Bay.
No, she won't be singing live the whole show. BUT, she will be filming those performances and insiders tell us that the shoot will most likely be in 3-D.
How very Miley Cyrus of her!
Details on the release - whether it will be in theaters or some other option - are still being worked out."

Buzz on a new song
From the Australian GimmeBritney Forums:
I'm not gonna post this one to the main site, as I don't have enough sources to confirm this... but here goes a little tidbit for gimmeBRITNEY readers.
We're hearing that there is some sort of unveiling of the new Britney single this weekend in America. We're not sure whether this is a performance at the VMA's or what - but all the information we're getting through now is looking EXACTLY like when Womanizer was delayed... this time it's in reverse.
It looks as though a radio date was set as far back as possible to give time for something to not work out as planned. This information leads us to believe that on Monday evening in Australia, radio will be sent a brand new single from Britney - the lead track from The Singles Collection. That would make it a Sunday night in America... and what's on Sunday in America??
There is still no change to "official" radio listing of September 21 from Sony. As I mentioned earlier, this is not concrete - we're hearing these little whispers again from multiple sources. We just can't get any clarification on them.
Story developing...

VMA rumours
These are the latest rumours regarding Britney and the VMAs:
"Fuck! I DEFF let the summer get the best of me! Forgot all about my beloved blog…and I wouldn’t have cared to come back either, lmao, but I just HAD to break this exclusive dish! My bff Linda (the bitch on the right) is gonna be performing during a VMAs segment! It’s gonna be dancey, hilarious and amazing. She just finished the rehearsals with this year’s hostRussell Brand and guess who’s gonna take part of that segment?!
…BRITNEY SPEARS! YES! She will be at the rehearsals with her later this week. LUCKY BITCH!" - http://d-antinicerocks.com/
"MTV just posted the seating card photos for the VMA’s and Britney was no where to be found. BUT they posted this little hint at the end
Also, keep in mind that suprise guests don’t usually get seat cards if you catch what I’m saying… )" - worldofbritney
"A source has revealed to WoB that Britney will NOT be attending the VMA’s but will record a video to show at the VMA’s" - worldofbritney

Britney/Russel VMA Skit Rumoured
From BritneyFever
According to several sources, Russel Brand prepared something special for this year’s VMAs, which will take place this Sunday in New York City. It is said to be a skit involving dancers and rehearsals.
Another blog reports that Ms Spears is part of this “skit.” No legit details if this would be merely a skit or a performance. The photo above is apparently taken during rehearsals.
More info to come if this is true.

Britney 'dumped by Trawick'
Britney Spears has been dumped by her latest boyfriend Jason Trawick, a report claims.
According to The Mirror, Trawick ended the relationship after the popstar refused to let him move in with her.
A source said: "It's all over and Britney is beside herself. This is the first person Britney has really loved since Kevin Federline. He was a really stable influence on her."
It is believed that Spears struggled with her lover's desire to settle down quickly, but is now "inconsolable" over the split.
The insider added: "Britney was dragging her feet. She's still fragile - she loves him but she didn't want to rush into anything. But now it has backfired and Jason is out of the picture."
Spears was first linked to the talent agent in March.

SCORCHING "You Oughtta Know" Reviews!
“Britney Spears has once again shocked the world but this time it’s something that could help her career. Performing last night in Greensboro, NC Spears sang live (yes I did say “sang live”). The singer who has lip synched her way through the entire Circus tour belted out a very impressive version of Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know.Spears appeared very confident in the performance and the crowd showed its approval afterwards with thunderous applause. This performance was a surprise to those in attendance and one that I think most Britney fans hope she will continue with. Spears upped the ante last night and it will be interesting to see if this was a one-time set change or a permanent addition to the tour.” – Examiner -
“With the exception of a few rare vocals on drippy ballad Everytime, the US singer has been miming her way through her worldwide Circus tour. However it appears she’s now decided to up the ante, trying something a little different for gig-goers in Greensboro, NC. Britters looked confident as she belted out a cover of ALANIS MORISSETTE’S You Oughta Know. And it appears fans were impressed as they roared in approval afterwards”. – TheSun -
“At her concert in Greensboro, NC, on Saturday night, Brit Brit debuted a new song on her Circus tour set list. She did a cover of Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know. And she actually sang live!!!!!!!!It was the first time she sang any song live during this whole tour!!!!!! Yes. Yes. Yes. Slowly but surely our beloved Brit Brit is rebuilding her confidence. And, hopefully, next tour there will be a lot more singing!” – PerezHilton -
“Britney Spears has sung live for the first time on her ‘Circus’ tour. The US star debuted a cover version of Alanis Morissette’s ‘You Outta Know’ at a concert in North Carolina, US, last night (05.09.09) – the first time she has sung a song live on the worldwide tour since it began in March.A concertgoer revealed: “We were really surprised! Nobody knew she going to sing that song. When I saw her rise up with a microphone I was thinking, ‘what is she doing?’ I had to ask the person in front of me what song she was singing!” In a video posted of Britney performing the song, she sounds confident and strong as a singer again and after she finishes, the shocked crowd give out huge cheers. Posting a text response to the video, one fan wrote: “This song is soooo good and seems so nice in Britney! “Congrats Britney, you should sing more live. Even if it’s not perfect it would be more exciting and emotional for you, and for the fans. “Previously on the tour, Britney has mimed while concentrating on the complicated dance routines involved in the show.” - ContactMusic -
“Last night at the Greensboro, NC stop of her Circus tour, Britney Spears covered Alanis Morissette’s 1990s anthem “You Oughta Know,” and from this admittedly low-quality video (and various reports on the Internet), it seems she actually sang live, instead of singing to tape. Again, the quality here isn’t great, but it looks like she rocked it. What better way to silence the critics than to step up to the mic, say to hell with it all, and spew some of that bile. Hot, confident Britney, live vocals, a dash of rebellion…hey Brit, how about breaking off for a few surprise shows at intimate clubs? I’d be down for that.” – Entertainer Weekly -

David Guetta is working with Britney
From GimmeBritney
David Guetta himself has squashed all the rumours surrounding working with Britney on new material.
He told the Kyle & Jackie O Show on Sydney’s 2Day FM that he is indeed working with Britney Spears. Jackie O asked Guetta if Britney’s people have approached him about working together, to which he replied “errr, well, ummm her A&R, yes“, before quickly changing the subject.
This adds fuel to the fire on the mysterious Facebook message that appeared late last week, that was quickly removed from his profile.
We also know that Britney is working with the like of Danja, Bloodshy & Avant and Max Martin. We don’t know if this is for a brand new album, or for the upcoming The Singles Collection, where there will be the inclusion of new songs – including a single which hits radio in only a couple of weeks.

“A Multi-CD box will also be released containing special limited edition reprints of every Britney Australian released single in a ‘treasure chest’ style box.
“The Singles Collection is ONLY for Australia, but I thought it was for US too cause MTV reported about it earlier this month. Oh well can’t wait to hear the new songs and see what goes on with this project.”

Danja, the producer of one of Ms Spears’ biggest hits, “Gimme More,” who also worked with the star on "Get Naked" and "Kill The Lights" posted a new message on his Twitter account:
“Good to se ms spears back in action! I’m hyped for the next album now!!”
Hope this means they are working together!

Rumoured Britney Demos so far
There's been a lot of buzz later regarding demos Britney might record. Remember these are not Britney, no one is pretending they are - they are recorded by a random artist and presented to Britney's production team to decide if Brit records a version.
So far, I believe we have (click to listen on youtube):
Scorpio Girl
Burnin' Up
Bad Girl
One More Drinkl
Prohibited (feat. Rihanna)

"The Singles Collection" Update, New demo

Hits Daily Double has finally confirmed the release of The Singles Collection in the United States on November 17, 2009. Note that this is the same Australian release date. US superstore giant Walmart has also added Ms Spears on the list of future releases in October 2009.
Meanwhile, Billboard just confirmed the release of The Singles Collection for October 27, 2009. It is very much a mystery. The release date confirmed by HDD is different than Billboard and Walmart.
As you will recall, there are two editions of this compilation album: regular and special box edition. No information about the content or a probable European release but one thing is for sure … there will be new songs!
Additionally, we’ve got a new demo from Finest Black Beatz sung by someone unknown, titled “Burnin’ Up” and produced by The Outsyders (they launched their career through “Womanizer” in 2008). Check it out bellow:
