Britney's New Video...Already!

It has been rumoured that Britney is in the process for her latest music video, already!

Bryan, Britney's brother, was seen onset today with Britney's backup dancers. The dancers were dressed in very Circus-like costumes, which included a few of Britney's old backup dancers from the "Dream Within A Dream" tour & "The Onyx Hotel" tour, as well as some of the newer ones including head-choreographer Andre Fuentes.

Sounds like the second single is "Circus," with rumored director Francis Lawrence ("I'm A Slave 4 U")! Could this be the rumoured "Kill The Lights"?

Britney To Play Herself In Biopic?

Britney Spears has already conquered the music and TV world, and now she wants to try her hand at movies again.

Spears is to reportedly play herself in a biopic of her life, reports The Mirror. The insider said: “It’s the film everyone will be queuing to see. It will be dark and gritty, charting Britney’s devastating falls, including her head-shaving ordeal and her traumatic custody battle for her two children. But it will also show the highs along her incredible life journey.”

The source added: “She has been through so much and is finally back to her best. This will be her ultimate chance to prove to the world she has still got it.”

We’re so glad to see Britney back on top of the world. She did a great job on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ so we’re sure she’ll be fabulous in her own biopic.

Britney Re-records "Baby One More Time" - An Anniversary Mix

It’s only appropriate that Britney rehearses in front of a mirror - reflecting back upon her her 10 successful years in the industry. Last Thursday marked the ten year anniversary of “Baby One More Time,” Britney’s first single released on October 23, 1998. Enjoy the classic, because this time around Britney is trading in her signature pigtails for something a little more… adult.

According to an insider at the International Dance Studio, the dance complex Britney has spent several weeks in rehearsing for her upcoming performances and world tour, Britney is practicing a dance routine for a new version of “Baby One More Time.”

The insider reveals exclusively to BreatheHeavy.com that Britney has once again teamed up with pop-music writing mastermind Max Martin ["Baby One More Time," "Oops!.. I Did It Again] for the new track, and has re-recorded her vocals with an urban twist, but still “keeping the same feel to it.” The newly amped up “Baby One More Time” song, renamed to “One More Time,” is a 10th anniversary mix.

“[The song] is for an upcoming concert performance to promote her new album,” says the source. “It is likely that this could be a bonus track on her upcoming CD...The track sounds hot,” the IDA insider continued. “A lot more mature than the original, and very modern.”

“Womanizer,” Britney’s new single off Circus, marks her second #1 off the Billboard Hot 100, an astounding ten years after “Baby One More Time” was certified in the top spot.

Britney's Trial Thrown Out!

Oops. They couldn't do it. After three days of deliberations, a mistrial has been declared in Britney Spears' misdemeanor driving without a license case after the eight-woman, four-man jury was unable to break their deadlock.

"This does feel like a victory," Spears' attorney, Michael Flanagan, told E! News. Van Nuys Superior Court Judge James A. Steele dismissed the jury just moments after the prosecution and defense were allowed to deliver additional closing statements to the jurors. After four votes, the jury foreman confirmed they were deadlocked 10-2 in favor of acquitting the pop star.

It's unclear if Spears, who was charged with misdemeanor driving without a California license stemming from an August 2007 accident, will be retried. All told, the jurors deliberated slightly more than eight hours over a verdict.

Britney Storms America - #1 in USA and Canada!

America...the continent that is!

Britney's "Womanizer" has this week shot straight up the chart to hit the top spot in the States in both the Billboard Pop 100 and the all important Billboard Hot 100, making Britney the United States official number one, and has gone in at #1 in Canada's Hot 100 too.

The song made a record-breaking jump to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 breaking the record set by T.I.'s Live Your Life which had previously jumped from number eighty to number one. It also garnered first-week download sales of 286,000, the biggest opening-week tally by a female artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking digital downloads in 2003, besting Mariah Carey's take for Touch My Body by just over 200 units.

This marked Spears's first number one single on the US Hot 100 since her debut ...Baby One More Time. This truly is Britney's comeback!

WORLD TOUR ANNOUNCED!

From Britney.com

I promised you news...And I've got lots of it! I JUST got an alert from Jive on my BRITberry (Get it?? You love my corny jokes, admit it.) Britney has officially announced plans to begin a tour next spring in support of Circus! Sources are also saying that this will likely be a WORLD tour. Brit hasn't toured since 2004's In The Zone (which I LOVED, might I add), so this is all v exciting.

More as it comes...

Big Britney Announcement This Thursday!

Tour announcement? Album cover? Album details? What could this news be! Leave comments on what you think it could be below.

Also today, Britney Spears is one step closer to going on tour.

While the comeback pop princess revealed last month that she was planning on hitting the road next year, a source now tells me that things are getting serious. Spears just signed a deal with the mega huge live entertainment company AEG to produce the whole shebang, my source says.
No word on when an official announcement will be made or when tickets will go on sale, but Spears revealed during an interview with New York radio station Z100 in late September that she’s hoping for a worldwide tour, not something limited just to the U.S. Reps for Spears did not return calls or emails.

"Blackout" is fan's favourite so far!

A BritneySpearsSpy poll has concluded with Britney's 2007 album, "Blackout" being named overall the fan's favourite album of her career. It won 53% of the vote; interestingly fan's seem to prefer her newer albums to older, with "In The Zone" coming in 2nd place with 22% and "Britney" in 3rd with 18%.

The results show Britney's amazing ability to please fans even when faced with highly-publicised personal problems and a public meltdown.

Results
...Baby One More Time (1%)
Oops!... I Did It Again (4%)
Britney (18%)
In The Zone (22%)
Blackout (53%)

The question now is...will "Circus" be able to live up to its predecessor?

Womanizer - The Video

So the eagerly awaited comeback video for "Womanizer" premiered on ABC's 20/20 Friday evening, and it is certain we can say it did not disappoint - Britney is back and better than ever!

The erotic video has been deemed "too steamy" by some channels and has even been flagged as inappropriate by popular site YouTube, which means you need to confirm you are over 18 to watch it! However it has still managed to get over a million views in under 24 hours.

Anyway lets not drag on with talking about it...here is the video for "Womanizer"...tell us what you think below!

"Setting the Record Straight" with MTV

After more than a decade as one of the worlds most sought after stars Britney will finally open up to the cameras in a new MTV documentary due to be aired next month.

After a particularly turbulent couple of years – from head shaving to custody battles -we have been waiting with baited breath to her Brit’s side of the story. The documentary – which is tentatively titled ‘For The Record’ – promises to provide a real insight into Britney’s rollercoaster ride of a world. Britney revealed to MTV "I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn't being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in." "This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I've been through and where I'm headed."

An MTV spokesperson says “no topic was off limits” during the interviews. “I sit there and I look back and I’m like, ‘I’m a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?,’” Spears says at one point. “I’ve been through a lot in the past two or three years and there’s a lot that people don’t know.”

In the 90 minute film Britney takes us behind the scenes of her video shoot for new single Womanizer and into the recording studio. The documentary even travels back to Brits hometown of Louisiana and goes backstage during the night of her incredible comeback at this year’s VMAs – where she picked up 3 awards. The singer will open up about her recent troubles, telling us "So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there's a lot that people don't know about me that I want them to know."

Adnan: "There is no sex tape"

Just days after rumours surfaced in British based Heat magazine that Britney's ex-BF Adnan Ghalib was willing to sell an alleged sex tape of him and the star, Adnan has now told the US's STAR magazine:

“There is no sex tape...and I’ve never claimed there is one.”

He also added he is preparing to take legal action over the matter. The story claimed that there was a 2 hour tape filmed during a holiday in Mexico, and showed Britney completely naked.

“I don’t know where these quotes I’m supposed to have said have come from,” says Adnan. “What I do know is they certainly didn’t come from me and they are completely false. I’m extremely upset and distressed and I’m taking legal action... This story has caused a lot of hurt to my family and people close to me.”

“There is no sex tape,” he continues. “That is the end of the matter.”

Thanks to STAR magazine, check out this week's issue for the full interview.
