Circus World Tour "definitely" Planned

Britney Spears has announced herself today that there are firm plans for a world tour to support her upcoming album release "Circus".

When asked about tour plans at New York radio station Z-100, which premiered her single "Womanizer" last Friday, she replied "Oh definitely, next year. Around the world." This marks a new start for the previously troubled singer, who did not promote her last album, "Blackout" at all.

This tour, expected to be officially announced soon, will be the first since 2004, although she performed several club shows in California recently under the pseudonym M+M's.

On her new song, she said: "['Womanizer' is] basically saying, 'We know what you're up to.' It's about guys cheating on girls...It's a girl anthem. That's why I like it. So hopefully the fans will see it that way too!"
She also said she's completed work on her forthcoming LP, Circus (released December 1st here in the UK), on which the single appears. "Well, actually ... I cut Circus like two weeks ago. I've been working on this album for, like, six months now." She also added "It was just inspiring" winning 3 MTV Video Music Awards "because now, going forward with the videos that I'm doing now, I can really go there and do something crazy and see what happens."
