Britney nominated for 2 MTV EMAs

MTV today announced finalists for seven of the eleven categories for their Europe Music Awards to be held in Liverpool late this year.

Britney is up for Act of 2008, with Amy Winehouse, Coldplay, Rihanna and Leona Lewis and her 2007 hit album, Blackout is up for Best Album, which also features Alicia Keys's As I Am, Coldplay's Viva La Vida, Duffy's Rockferry and Leona Lewis's Spirit

Viewers will be able to vote for the winners from September 29th, until November 2nd at mtvema.com.

Britney has won five awards from the EMAs since they were established in 1994. This year's awards will be held at Liverpool's Echo Arena, in the United Kingdom on November 6th, 2008
