Britney Spears's brand new album, "Circus" has topped the American Album Chart, debuting on the Billboard 200 at #1, after selling over half a MILLION albums in one week!

"The Jive set moved 505,000 copies in the United States, making Spears the only act in Nielsen SoundScan history to have four albums debut with 500,000 or more."
Meanwhile, the lead single "Circus" has topped the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart, with an estimated 200,000 downloads in one week, and has debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #3. "Womanizer" is at #10, meaning it is the first time in her career she has had two singles in the top 10 of the Hot 100 at one time!
